In case you're really just tuning in for photos of Jules...

Last time we were in France, we nick-named carousels the "crying circle" because every time we saw one, Jules desperately wanted to go on until he was on, and then he desperately wanted to get off. This was made more exciting by the fact that they are everywhere in France. They seem to throw up a carousel for pretty much any holiday or event, so if you've got a love-hate relationship with them, it's a pretty torturous experience.

Luckily, he's older and wiser, and has honed a love-love relationship with them now. We've been in this country for about seven days, and he's already been on a carousel 5 times. And we've still got almost a week of carousels ahead of us!

Needless to say, this is an obvious photo-op.
