Next tattoo. Seriously.

I just bumped into this quote, and it's really resonating.

"Do what you can, with what you have, where you are." Theodore Roosevelt

Basically that's Teddy Roosevelt saying, "Buck the f-- up and make the best of it." If I wasn't sure that he was American, I'd be certain that he was English. 

And depending on how the next couple of months shake out (finding a new apartment, moving into a new apartment, opening a restaurant, releasing a book, getting Jules enrolled in pre-k... no biggie), you might well find me in a tattoo parlor getting this mantra permanently emblazoned. Because sometimes it's good to have a visible reminder, just in case you forget.
